SahlaSchool (sahlaschool.com) is a tutoring marketplace that connects students and parents with verified local professionals in Algeria. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Account data: name, email address, role (student, parent, or professional), and your city. Professional profiles: subjects, bio, study fields, photos or documents you upload to verify your identity and expertise. Usage data: demands you publish, responses you send, chat messages, ratings, and points transactions. Technical data: IP address, browser, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure.
To provide the service: matching students with professionals, processing demand responses, chat, and points payments. To keep the platform safe: reviewing reports, blocking abusive users, and moderating messages. To verify professionals: checking the documents you upload against our verification policy. To improve the service: anonymous analytics that never contains your personal data. To contact you: account notifications only, never advertising.
Your profile information is visible to other users of the platform as you chose when editing your profile. Payment information is processed by our payment provider. We never store your card details. We never sell your personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Your data is stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Passwords are hashed. We keep account data while your account is active, and delete it within 30 days after you ask us to delete your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time: in the app under Settings, or by requesting it on our data deletion page (sahlaschool.com/data-deletion). Chat messages and reports are kept for the time needed for moderation and legal compliance.
You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, delete your account, or withdraw consent for processing. You can also block other users at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
